My stepson, Gavin, and his wife, Meredith, own and operate an organic farm called "Sandyfoot Farm" in south central Virginia. -- "Samuel Pepys" (Pronounced "peeps") rose from a clerk in the Navy Office to be one of the highest ranking officials and experts of naval affairs under King Charles II. Pepys kept a diary from 1660 to 1669 in London and recorded the king's coronation, the great fire and the black plague, along with commentary on clothing, food, politics and the theater. -- "Samuel Dawson Bell" was my Great-Great-Grandfather that my niece, Annabelle, and I found while exploring my mother's family tree. The arrangement ends by revisiting "Sandyfioot Farm."
