I wrote "Resolution" in 2004, and it was named by a friend and fellow dulcimer player, Timothy Seamon of Williamsburg, Virginia, who said it sounded like a resolution. -- "Planxty George Brabazon" is one of the many compositions of Turlough O"Carolan, the blind Irish harper who lived from 1670 to 1738. In gratitude, O"Carolan would name some of his compositions after members of those families who financially supported him, George Brabazon being one of them.
