I watched the local news one day in the winter time and the weather was seasonably cold. The news anchor opened the broadcast with "A warm welcome to you on this cold day." I thought that sounded like a good title for a tune. Touch Not the Cat is the motto of the Scottish Clan McPherson. Their crest shows a bob cat with its paw raised and its claws out and the motto means that it is not safe to approach (touch) the cat when it shows you its claws. It is only safe to touch the cat when its claws are retracted into the glove of its paw.
