Eleanor was a member of the Plunkett family who lived close to Turlough O'Carolan, the blind Irish harper considered to be the Father of Irish music. He wrote this moving piece and named it for her. Carol Cavender was my uncle and he helped me build my very first hammered dulcimer, and I used his tools to make my own design of hammers.'
